Sewing for Summer

I love this pattern, and how the top is put together and I love wearing it.
I have made 3 of these, all in linen, this mustard, a more chartreuse yellow/ green and a navy blue.  I will still make a white one as white always looks so great with dark denim

These dresses are all from the same pattern
They wear so well!  My go to summer dress

I would like to try the Lois dress pattern from the same company, just worried it gapes a bit:

And I fancy the Belle for cooler days:
Their patterns are really lovely, with great instructions

I used my self made linen tank top pattern for this top, but embellished it with reverse applique circles and hand stitching.  You can never have too many white linen tops for summer!!

I love this dress pattern.  It fits so beautifully, and I always feel good wearing it.
It is not a PDF pattern (for a change) it is Simplicity Project Runway K1418 View B

When we moved to California I started bootcamp and therefore needed clothing for this.  You get SUPER hot in the class, so I was even willing to bare my legs in lycra shorts!! I drafted this pattern myself from a leggings pattern I had made, and I made the tank top pattern from an existing top I had that was comfy and had the nice wide t-bar back

Top from same pattern, but with higher neckline, leggings from own pattern
